Permaglass FRP Bore Casing

| Permaglass FRP BORE CASING is corrosion resistant, lightweight,and extremely strong. It is the perfect material for lining groundwater bores, and will outlast any other material in corrosive and/or warm water conditions. In addition to the corrosion resistance, Permaglass BORE CASING has high external collapse ratings, making it suitable for very deep instalations (past 600 metres).

Cost the service life (Permaglass BORE CASING still in service now after 25 years), and installation benefits against Stainless Steel, Galvanised Steel, ABS, PVC, etc, and Permaglass is the perfect choice for aggressive bores.
Top and bottom adapter pipes with flanges, reducers in Stainless Steel are available laminated onto Permaglass FRP BORE CASING. Slotted Permaglass FRP BORE CASING is also available, with between 0.5% and 4% open area, at 1mm - 4mm slot sizing.

SLOTTED Permaglass FRP BORE Casing is readily available, with precision machined slots evenly distributed over the length, Variable open areas are available, ranging from 0 - 4% open area. Fibrelogic allows for the reduction in hoop and tensile strength, when using slotted Permaglass - consult manufacturer, whenever specifying slotted Permaglass to correctly select the wall thickness. |

Design Basis
Assumed possible empty internal of Casing, however, likely differential of ISG.
External Collapse Ratings are the maximum pressures to be applied to the outside wall of the Casing.
Wall Thicknesses increase as the external pressure/depths increase.
Installation:
Both Permaglass FRP BORE CASING and Permaglass FRP PUMP COLUMN are joined, using the Kwik-Lok joint, which consists of an O'ring for pressure sealing, and a 316 Stainless Steel Locking Cable
Ensure groove is clean before inserting Cable
Insert Locking Cable through until inserted end has visibly passed right around the pipe circumference in the groove.
Apply suitable lubricant to installed O'ring
